Dakota Waterfowl Hunts
We
start our waterfowl hunting in the southeast with the
early canada goose season. Created to eliminate
nuisance geese, we have found this is a very productive
goose hunt for those of you into honkers. Temperatures
are moderate as well, making for a very enjoyable goose
hunt. We then transition to the north and begin with
sandhill crane hunts. This challenging bird has
a wingspan of 6 feet. If you've never hunted sandhill
cranes before, we encourage you to do so! If that isn't
enough for you, follow up your crane hunt with an afternoon
dove, partridge, or sharptail shoot.
October begins the season for snows, blues, canadas,
ducks, and Tundra Swans.
